Hello! My name is Fred. I enjoy designing and developing websites, along with producing music.

An artist at heart, I currently lead an easy going and freelance life in Shanghai.

Fred Lin Design Studios and Fred Lin Music are the 2 businesses I currently operate.

In my free time, I indulge myself in cooking, and enjoy my food while watching movies. I am one of those people who prefer to eat while watching a movie at the same time. I find eating at the dining table monotonous and a waste of a multitasking opportunity.

I play the piano, keyboard and guitar and have produced music for commercial albums in China, Taiwan and Singapore. I have released 2 new age instrumental albums in Singapore entitled Piano Spa 4 and Piano Spa 5. Both albums were distributed and published by Warner Music Singapore.

The first computer I played with was an Intel 286. THE operating system then was Microsoft DOS and monitors had only 16 colors. Slowly throughout the years, I upgraded my computer knowledge with the technological advancements. From Windows 3.0 to eventually Windows 95. I use a Macbook Pro now, and am hopelessly in love with the Macintosh operating system.

I created my first website when I was 12, and later studied Multimedia InfoComm Technology for my diploma. Naturally, my headstart in the area allowed me to soar through the course effortlessly.

Now, I make use of both creative professions: music & web to earn my living, and carve my legacy in this world we live in.
