Dec
Waiting for the final guest to arrive before we commence our little cozy year end party/steamboat (hotpot) dinner.
This year I wouldn’t say ” time flies “, because the past 6 months have seemed like nearly 6 years for me. So much has happened, and I felt that I’ve grown so much. I’ve went from being a dependent to purely independent, in foreign soil.
This year I’ve kickstarted a new business seriously, my web design business. Although my musically inclined side has slowed down considerably, but I’ve still managed to be part of a commercial release this month, and it featured me as a singer as well, so I’d cheers to that.
In 2010, I hope to continue what I’m doing, and more. I think resolutions are a good way of setting targets/goals for oneself, and every new year seems to be the official date for everyone to do it, so these are my resolutions for 2010:
1: To change my self-status from “surviving” to “comfortable”.
2: To at least 1 major client for my web design business.
3: To have at least 1 music-related commercial release.
4: To quit smoking.
5: To comment/help out at least one person on forums per week. I owe it to alot of folks on tech forums who have helped troubleshooted and provided invaluable advice and knowledge in my course of learning, be it for web-design or music, or cooking. It is often human nature to just take and not give back, but I feel that it’s time to give back, especially when you’ve accumulated a wealth of knowledge to share.
6: To achieve a recognizable presence/following on the internet.
That’s a partial list for now.
Gonna go join the folks at the table now, Happy New Year!!! God Bless!
