At Shanghai Airport Terminal 2 now, waiting to board my plane to Hong Kong.

This is actually my first time at Terminal 2, and I am quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of the newer terminal! It resembles the Hong Kong International airport in many ways, and is obviously in a class of its own, something one seldom expects from a made-in-china product.

The temperature in Shanghai dropped to a staggering -2 degrees celsius today, which came quite unexpected.

Problem is, it isn’t half as cold in Hong Kong. I ended up coming to the airpot in several layers of thickish clothing but no coat, and then took them off in the airport toilet and stuffed the extra clothing in my luggage.

I thought that would work well until I found out that there’s no “walkway” to the plane, I’ll most likely  be taking a shuttle to the plane’s designated parking lot and then boarding the plane from the outside. That means I’m going to freakin’ freeze. FREEZE. Hope I make it through alright.
