Chinese new year is early this year. The year of the Cow brings special significant to mainland China people because the word ‘Cow’ (牛) is a popular street word for ‘outstanding’.

This coming year, the world is looming in the aftermath of the economy recession. That means all of us will need to work really hard like cows to survive, lest to say make it big.

The music industry is in shambles, while the film industry continues to bloom. Luckily for me, the internet is still continuing to rise as THE major marketing tool.

I will be venturing into a bold and unique business that complements my skills very perfectly. It should be up in the coming months, hopefully before April. In the meantime, I’m continuing to do web design and miscellaneous music production.

Being a freelancer has it’s perks and falls, for my case, I would face more falls if I were to be employed by a stingy unappreciative employer who exploits every inch of me – something that is going to be popular in these rough times.

Friends and relatives have been giving me an enormous amount of help and support. For that, I am eternally grateful. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I comfortably am right now. Comfortable by my standards, but hey, learn to be grateful and content with what you have.

The road is still long and ardous. I wish all of you a blessed Chinese New Year for those who go by that calendar.
