I started work briefly on an original christmas yesterday, and worked again on it today. Every Christmas, I try to come up with something musical, either a christmas vocal cover or at least an instrumental one. This Christmas I’ve decided to write an original song, because I felt compelled to Thank God, for his blessings, for everything I’ve gone through over the past 2 years in Shanghai. Aside from that, I also wanted to convey a message with the song. A reminder really. Below is the current draft of the lyrics, I have already more or less finalized the melody, and am in the process of finalizing the lyrics. What do you think of the lyrics so far?
