The current time is 8:06 PM, I’ve been stuck at Hong Kong International Airport since 3:30 pm.

WTF. EVERY OTHER plane is delayed/cancelled due to the weaksauce typhoons that Hong Kong has experienced since yesterday. Now these are the same strength of winds that I was walking home from work in Shanghai during winter last year. COMON.

To makes matters worse, I lost my Singapore sim card 2 days ago, which leaves me with literally no means of contact with anyone, until now. I had intended to depend on the airport’s free wifi service, but it was down as well, until now. I’m sitting beside an internet connection zone and luckily the wifi works here.

I’m not asking for too much, just hope that I will be able to fly to Nanning and arrive SAFELY tonight.

I don’t want to end up spending half my day waiting here, only to find out that flight has been cancelled.

As of now, there is ZERO flight information about my flight. Where others have DELAYED or CANCELLED or an estimated time of departure, mine is just BLANK. It was scheduled to take off at 5:55 PM.

UGH.
