2 of my all time favourite things to eat are Hashbrowns and Curry Chicken. Last weekend, I made a nice plate of both for a late brunch. I combined leftover curry which I made the day before, with 2 pieces of ‘gourmet’ hashbrowns. I know, you must be asking “what are gourmet hashbrowns?”.
Over the years of hashbrown tasting from supermarkets. I’ve come across 2 types of hashbrowns. One are the grainy ones that you usually order at a western breakfast or Singaporean Nasi Lemak.

The other, which is NEVER ever sold in restaurants, but only available at supermarkets are a variety of hashbrowns that cost more, and have more flavour, long strips of potato and a little floury inside. I actually prefer the cheaper hashbrowns, but occasionally, this slightly more expensive variety provides an alternative experience.
