Had super huge cravings for western, and decided to cook steak! Been craving it ever since I had this dreadful cold. I haven’t posted food for a long time, and thought this photo look decent enough.

I did a standard pepper and salt seasoned steak, with some rosemary and thyme sprinkled into the butter.

Coleslaw is pretty straightforward, shredded cabbage and carrots with mayo, dash of vinegar, sugar, salt and a twist of black pepper.

Cooking homemade fries are a REAL PAIN to make. I’m considering buying frozen fries instead, and save my potatoes for other things instead.

The best thing about all this is that it costs so friggin’ cheap. The sirloin costs about SGD $2. I don’t have to say more about the cost of vegetables.

You’re permanantly in Singapore now? I thought you were only visiting Singapore…
Shanghai climate is crazy wierd this year. No snow, but it went from 20+ degrees to 4 degrees this week…

haha yes I’ve heard about that. That’s very weird. Unfortunately, it didn’t snow in Shanghai this winter. :(
