Title of Song: See it in your eyes
Composer: Fred
Lyricist: Fred
Vocals: Fred
Producer/Arranger: Fred
Date Written: Oct 2007

Latest ballad! An english one this time. I was actually asked to arrange something in the likes of Britney Spears, and while doing that, I ended up writing this song and making an Aerosmithish kinda anthem like ‘I don’t wanna close my eyes’. After writing and arranging the song, I realized I really like it alot, and it is a very catchy and KTV-friendly song. My only concern was that it might have been inspired or worse it might actually be some other song that already exists, coz it sounded familiar. Either that or I can’t believe that I could write such a song. Haha. I hope it’s the latter. :)

Hope ya’ll enjoy “See it in your eyes”.

This is one of the first songs that I’ve arranged properly and released on the site after I’ve joined the music industry. Hope ya’ll enjoy the new quality of songs. :)

See it in your eyes
Tune/Lyrics/Arrangement: Fred Lin

When I was born
I felt the need to carry on
To make a better life for you and for me

Then you came through
Into my life, out of the blue
You made me whole when life was bad to me

Chorus
I see it in your eyes tonight
I don’t know somehow you make things right
Every word you say to me
The air I breathe
It all makes me complete

I see it in your eyes tonight
Baby won’t you please hold me tight
So you will be right here with me
Coz you’re the only one for me.

Everyday
I tell myself love will not stay
What life would be with you out of the way

Then you came along
Into my heart, took me by storm
You made me whole again like I have never been.

*Chorus

Every little way that you can make me feel
I see it in your eyes that you’re sincere and you’re for real
I think about the words you’ve always whispered to my ears
I just can’t believe
You’re here for me

*Chorus

Don’t worry about the song sounding familiar. That’s how songwriting works anyway, isn’t it? Everyone inspiring everyone. From what I hear, although there are hints of influence on some familiar pop tunes, on the whole it doesn’t sound like a direct rip-off from any copyright material. Jia you!
