Title of Song: Love is All I Have For You
Composer: Fred
Lyricist: Fred
Vocals: Fred
Producer/Arranger: Fred
Date Written: 10 Jan 2008
First song released in 2008. Actually, it was written in Dec 2007. It’s been awhile since someone has tugged my heart strings. It’s been awhile since I’ve written a song from my heart. This song was conceived on a sad night, when I was thinking about a girl whom I’ve met and fallen for under the wrong circumstances, and thus cannot be together. For now, it remains the same… but who knows what the future might hold. This song was originally meant for a girl named Eleanor, but I take it back, because I found out she really didn’t deserve this song.
Hope this song touches you.
Love is All I have for You
Lyrics/Tune/Arranged: Fred
Every time, the way you make me feel
I ask myself, is this all for real
I don’t know weather if I’m ready for this
Love is cruel but can also be bliss
Every way, that I look into your eyes
I see an angel, dancing in the skies
Baby, please don’t leave me right here alone in the night
I just wanna hold you here by my side
Anything you wanna do
I’ll do for you
With every breath I’ve left for you
The only words I wanna say
I love you
Baby, Love is all I have for you
Every little way that you
can make me feel
It all makes things seem so unreal
The only words I wanna say
I love you
Baby, Love is all I have for you

10 Mar 2008 11:04hello. somehow i just stumbled upon your blog (: am very impressed w your dedication/passion to music and in making your own music. hm just listened to your most recent song. what i feel about it is that it sounds like what mediacorp will play as a chinese drama theme song. a bit cheesy yet its able to portray the love between a couple. hm however, i feel that a better way to improve it is to make it more westernised (since its a english song right?) as in when i listened to it, it is very obvious that its a song composed and arranged by an asian/chinese. no offence here but i feel if its more westernised, it will def sound much more sophisicated (: hope you arent offended w my remarks (: jiayou in your pursue if your dreams!

Right now, they’re not polished enough to be able to be viewed as ‘a good thing’, but I’ll keep working towards that.
Thanks for your criticism and encouragement! Yeah my english works are often said to be not western enough, and I sing with too much Singaporean accent… You know, it’s really hard to change that unless I live in US or a western country long enough to pick up an accent. But hey, I think instead of describing these characteristics of my songs as flaws, why not make them my signature style instead?
The problem with me is, I’m more western than chinese, the chinese stuff I write is not chinese enough, and the western stuff I write isn’t western enough. Tough being a Singaporean!
More songs will come.
